SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of this position is the accuracy of price scanning and pricing coordination for all store level point of sale functions.  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

·       Responsible for ensuring that all items are priced correctly both in the store’s system, as well as on the floor

·       Able to run movement reports for leads, buyers or the store managers

·       Able to create and print tags – knowing each product tag type & color and the different store programs (i.e. Gluten Free, Local, REV Flyer, EDLPS, etc.)

·       Able to run spoils reports for needed departments

·       Identify create and replace all missing or broken tags on a daily basis  

·       Prepare, organize and hang price changes with complete accuracy

·       Direct hang help staff and ensure that they are on task and accurate

·       Help Maintain proper inventory control and back stock of tags, toner and needed supplies required

·       Oversee produce price changes and PLU #’s

·       Write up line pricing for regular retails, sale prices, size changes, description changes, gluten free, off and on, and communicate required fixes to corporate POS

·       Ensure prices are accurate by maintaining section audits on a regular basis

·       Manage and maintain the “I like this” program

·       Shelf maintenance on WIC signage

·       Scanning all sections after any resets

·       Main instore person for store scans

·       Occasional sign making

·       Perform all other job duties assigned

·       Ability to effectively communicate, interact with and assist the Front End, leads, clerks, managers and all other departments

·       Must be able to work well under pressure

·       Ability to consistently complete tasks within required deadlines

·       Able to work independently and also as part of a team

·       Strong computer skills (BR Data, Outlook, ISS-45, Excel, LabelView, Print-Lab, TeamViewer, Aloha and use of R.F., AND 10-Key)

·       Must be able to fulfill all physical requirements of position

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

·       While performing the duty of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, squat

·       The employee must be able to bend and twist at waist and neck.

·       The employee must occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds

·       Successful performance requires specific vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus including having adequate visual acuity to verify invoices and other written documents

·       The employee must be able to tolerate repetitive reaching, handling, gripping and manipulation of hands and fingers in order to hang tags, stock and utilize supplies 

·       The employee must occasionally be able to tolerate some grasping, pushing and pulling of items when utilizing supplies

·       The employee must be able to tolerate moderate amounts of dust and chemical fumes

·       The employee must wear an Oliver’s uniform which includes non-slip shoes and a name tag at all times
