Relief Adolescent Residential Treatment Counselors

Part Time - Sebastopol

TLC Child & Family Services is seeking enthusiastic and passionate team players to work with male and female youth in our Residential Treatment division as Substitute Child Care Counselors. This position is ideal for those applicants interested in gaining experience in this field or those unable to commit to full-time hours.
Our Nationally Accredited programs provide care and supervision to adolescents who often have mental health issues related to trauma experienced in their lives. Counselors help supervise and care for the youth on a daily basis; provide them support, guidance and structure… and overall attempt to establish safe, predictable relationships.
It’s serious work, but we also have serious fun. Both youth and staff participate in activities such as white water rafting, rock climbing, ropes course, camping, backpacking, deep sea fishing. We tend to our gardens and expose the youth to experiences such as yoga and mindfulness as well as tap into their other passions and interests.

Must be able to drive and transport the youth, have a clean driving record and valid CA driver license
Able to pass a background check and pre-employment physical
